back in the t-dot

carole and i are moved in to an apartment in toronto. i've just been spending the last week or so looking for work. fingers crossed my job interview today goes well so we can get an income again (it's been months since either of us has been working because the move took so long).

the cats seem to be settling in well and we've got our apartment mostly furnished. we are in need of a few more items but those can be bought once i have an income. we're going to need to get started on carole's immigration paperwork soon as well, but since the fees for that are over $1000 CDN we're going to have to wait until i have a job for that as well.

i'm hoping to have the motivation to post here more often now that things seem to have settled down somewhat.
