oh and in another un-weekend-related note. i started reading jonathan strange & mr norrell today. it seems like a really really awesome read although i've barely got to the meat of the story yet. it's a huge book and i was a bit apprehensive but it seems like despite it's size it will be a relatively easy read (despite my brother's warnings about the pacing in the first half being slow).
