running errands

so my parents are coming down today to let me drive the van a bit. it's been about a year since i've driven and it would probably be a good idea to get a bit of experience before i decide to drive all the way to picton on friday. we're using this as an opportunity to get some errands run, since it would otherwise require a lot of walking or transit fares.

i have a feeling we aren't going to last more than a year before we get a car of our own. in fact as soon as i have an income and we can start running some projected budgets we're probably going to start looking at options (ie leasing or buying a used car, etc). i'd hope that we still wouldn't use the car much, although one of the jobs i've been looking at is in don mills, which might be a hell of a commute on transit.

anyways, i'm totally looking forward to camping this weekend. haven't been camping yet this year and the place we are going is absolutely gorgeous. i'm sure carole will bring her camera so i'll have some sweet photos to post on monday.
