lobby watch channel...

my favorite channel on our tv is 000. they have hooked this channel up to the camera in the lobby of our building. presumably this is to help you identify whom you are buzzing up. i've only ever used it for this purpose once, but sometimes i just leave it on that channel to see what kind of fucked up people live in my building. it rarely dissapoints.

last night the lobby watch channel managed to take on new highs of entertainment value. carole came home from being out and was very very ill (she cought a stomach flu from our friend's kid and it's hitting her pretty hard at the moment). she burst into the apartment and proceeded immediately to the bathroom whereupon she was sick repeatedly. when she had gotten a bit more under control she went into the lounge and turned on the tv. when we flipped to the lobby watch channel you could clearly see that "someone" had been sick in the little glass area you wait in while people buzz you up. we proceeded to watch and giggle as people continued to come into the apartment building and walked right through the mess. i don't know why this was so funny but we were both laughing for a good 20 minutes while we watched.

unfortunately carole continued to be sick all night and wasn't feeling much better this morning. there wasn't quite enough snow for a snow day at my work today so she's on her own until this evening...
