got off an hour early from work today! apparently the impending snow storm was enough to make the execs send us all home before the rush.

passing Old Mill station on the subway on the way home i got a view of the snow covering all the bare trees in the park. it looked pretty epic.

so, i'm just using this extra time to configure my new synth some more. it's going to take me another week or so before the system is fully optimized. is there something wrong with me if i enjoy setting up the gear as much as writing the tunes?
