bah. so it looks like we will not be picking up the tickets for Dirty Dancing since the only available showing is a wednesday. carole and i had a discussion and we both agree that we are just not hardcore enough for musical theater mid-week. the way i see it, that's just a slippery slope... next thing you know you're camping out for 3 days for front row mezzanine tickets to RENT... *shudder*
on the plus side we are still going to see Evil Dead: The Musical. i'm going to be honest, i'm looking forward to this a lot more than i was looking forward to seeing Baby and crew "sass it up" on stage. but seriously, any live theater production where the first two rows are called the "splash zone" and come with a strict warning that you WILL be COVERED in fake blood is clearly a superior form of entertainment.
in other news, Gobs the Zombie is coming by my studio tonight to hopefully put the finishing touches on his new track. he's rocking an "all pussy" set at this weekend's Terror Inc event. i might actually leave my little techno bubble and trek down to Blak to hear the track's debut.
