continued my laptop reinstall last night. i literally spent the entire night watching progress bars and i haven't even got half of the programs reinstalled yet. i never realized just how much software i actually use on a daily basis.
that having been said, i'm really digging the new operating system. it's packed with tons of little features that make everything easier. it's organized in a really logical and well thought out way. also, they have addressed many of the little gripes that i had with previous systems. all in all, it's much more organized and efficient and it seems to run a lot smoother and faster than it's predecessor.
can't wait to get home tonight and continue the process... hopefully by the weekend i can get everything back up and running and i can start work on putting some amorphous menace content up.
